Welcome to my website! I am a professional online poker player who specializes in No-Limit Hold’Em Cash games, Heads Up, and Spin and Gos.
I graduated from Oxford University in 2024, with a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE). Since I graduated, I have focused on playing poker and producing poker content on Youtube, Twitch, and Kick all under the alias: jliupoker.
You can find my blog, latest results, and coaching services. Please get in contact if you have any questions.
1. RESULTS – I was a highly successful grinder on the mid-stakes zoom pools on Partypoker on 2021-2023. I grew my bankroll from nothing to tens of thousands of dollars. Nowadays, I continue to produce positive results on a variety of sites. You can check out my latest results in my blog.
2. EXPERIENCE – I not only have experience in private poker coaching, I am a coach on Carrot Corner, producing high quality video content for the site, as well as a Sensei in their Discord. Lastly, you can check out my Youtube channel for a taste of the instructional material you would be getting in one-to-one sessions. The ideology I have for poker improvement is the following: poker is an exploitative battle, but in order to win that battle, one must have both 1) a better understanding of GTO strategy, and 2) an understanding of how populations tendencies differ from GTO strategy.
3. DISCORD ACCESS – Access to VIP section of my Discord, where you will be able to ask questions, discuss hands, and share solver analysis with other members of the discord, including myself.
Justin is an great coach who turned me from a total beginner to a winning player at 200nl online in less than a year. His knowledge of both the GTO and exploitative aspects of 6-max cash is top-notch and he has an exceptional ability to explain complex concepts in simple language. I definitely would not be the poker player I am today without his help.
I started playing a lot of poker over the last year, and over this time Justin has helped coach me. His approach of knowing theory and then understanding how people deviate and how to take advantage of that has been an immensely useful framework for getting better at the game. I have learned a lot of theoretical concepts and have developed many robust GTO heuristics, understandings of specific spots as well as general reasoning with his help explaining the analysis. He also has a deep understanding of how people generally play and despite his theoretical background his play is very strongly based on exploits which he imparts on his students. I've been playing a lot of heads up, and when battling a specific opponent, his insights on game flow and how to make adjustments have been very valuable. Without his help I would certainly be a much worse player today.

Recently, Pete Clarke (Carrot Corner) had me on his twitch stream to watch him play some hands. We agreed on most spots, but had some
